Génesis
Ten minutes of sea a day
You don't need a whole day at the beach. Something happens in the first ten minutes, and it doesn't need any longer than that.
The beach has a reputation as an all-day plan: cool box, parasol, towel, three hours. And because it's a big plan, it gets put off until there's a big gap in the diary. Which almost never comes.
Try the opposite. Ten minutes. Go down, get in, get out, come back. No parasol, no cool box.
What happens in those ten minutes is curious: your head goes quiet. Not for any mystical reason, but because cold water forces you to pay attention to your body, and while you're paying attention to your body you can't keep circling round everything else.
If you live near the sea, this is the cheapest thing you'll do for yourself today. And if you don't live nearby, it works much the same with any cold water, anywhere you leave your phone behind.
