The body you have today

Waiting for the body you'll have in three months before you go to the beach is the surest way to miss this summer.

Every May, the same conversation happens. Someone says they're not wearing a bikini this year, that they'll wait until next year, that there's something they need to sort out first.

The trouble with that calculation is that summer doesn't wait. And the body you'll have in three months, when it arrives, will have something to fix too, because there always is.

We're not going to tell you to love yourself exactly as you are, because that's easy to say and hard to do. We're going to tell you something smaller and more useful: you don't need to love your body to get in the water.

The sea isn't judging you. Everyone else on the beach is busy with their own thoughts. And of everything you'll remember about this summer in ten years' time, not one image will be of you worrying about your stomach.

Wear whatever you feel like wearing. Get in the water. The rest is noise.
