Handmade doesn't mean expensive for no reason

Here's where the price of a piece actually comes from, no dressing it up.

A mass-produced swimsuit comes off a machine in minutes, and out of a factory by the thousand. Its cost per piece is tiny, and there's no trick to that: it's just maths.

A macramé piece is knotted by hand. A top can take several hours of work, and that time can't be compressed. There's no quick version of knotting.

Then there's the fabric. A good-weight lycra with proper recovery costs quite a bit more than a basic one, and it shows exactly where it matters: when wet, and over time with use.

And then there's the short run, the least visible factor of all. Producing a hundred units of something is proportionally far more expensive than producing ten thousand.

What isn't in our price is a mark-up for putting a logo on it. Prices are on every product page, no small print. If we ever raise a price, it'll be because the yarn or the hours got more expensive, and we'll say so plainly.
